First up, we have the Railroad Square Art Park. Railroad Square Art Park can be found in Tallahassee’s historic warehouse district, and it’s now home to an abundance of artists’ galleries, studios, and small shops for you to explore.
Railroad Square Art Park is the real hidden gem of Tallahassee. If you’re into all things, vintage, and locally sourced, you’ll love getting lost in the district’s brightly colored buildings, unique shops, and restaurant attractions.
So, when you’re done soaking up all the artwork, you can stop by one of the many cafes or restaurants in the area to pick up a spot of coffee, or even a full three-course meal!
Railroad Square Art Park is THE place to be if you want to discover a quirky, creative side of Tallahassee that you won’t see anywhere else.
There’s an abundance of vintage thrift stores, stunning antique shops, and even a real pinball arcade and gaming shop! There’s no other place in Tallahassee that’s quite like Railroad Square Art Park, and there really is something for everyone (see also “Amazing Places To Eat In Tallahassee“).
Don’t forget to stop by some of the area’s best-loved cafes and restaurants, including Nefatari’s, The Iron Daisy, The Bark, Catalina Cafe, and Gaines Street Pies. You won’t regret it!
If you’re a lover of vintage cars, the Tallahassee Automobile Museum has got you covered. At the Tallahassee Automobile Museum, you’ll find more than just your average museum.
The automobile museum takes you on a truly unique journey through time to explore some truly unique cars, trucks, and memorabilia.
The antique car museum is situated in a 100,000-square-foot facility where you can see not only real cars but also concept cars, too! If you’re a lover of muscle cars too, you’ll be in for a treat.
The museum holds around 170 rare, beautiful vehicles dating all the way back to 1894. You’ll also get to see some truly impressive automobiles from television series such as Bat Boat, Batman Forever, and the Penguin’s Duck Car!
The automobile museum is also home to much more than just automobiles. You can also explore a unique collection of Native American artifacts such as firearms, farm implements, and even antique boats and boat motors!
We’d recommend spending between 2-3 hours here to soak up the sights. The museum is open Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm, Saturday 10 am – 5 pm, and Sunday 11 am – 5 pm.

In the heart of downtown Tallahassee, you’ll find the Challenger Learning Center. The learning center is great fun for the whole family, and it also features an impressive 3D IMAX theatre, a space mission simulation, and a planetarium!
At the Challenger Learning Center, you’ll also find plenty of STEM experiences geared at middle school students to adults, with an abundance of hands-on activities to get you involved with (and loving) science!
The space mission simulator is one of the learning centers biggest attractions, and here, you’ll get to recreate an actual flight to space from the simulator’s mission control room!
This space station was actually modeled after the lab on the International Space Station, so this is the closest you’ll get to the real deal!
In the downtown digital dome theatre and planetarium, you’ll also get to immerse yourself in the wonder of the night sky, brought to you by these state-of-the-art projectors and an impressive sound system that will allow you to explore the galaxy, straight from the comfort of the planetarium!
There’s so much to love about the challenger learning center, and it’s a real treat for adults and kids alike. Tickets can be purchased at the CLC box office or via phone, and prices range from $4.25 and $10.

Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, this premier skate complex is open to skaters of all abilities. You can even use it to host your next birthday party or work event, so it’s never been easier to take a trip to remember in Tallahassee!
Skate World is THE best place to go rollerskating, and it’s kitted out with an awesome playground, arcade, and cafe to keep you entertained on your trip.
Skate World is fun for the whole family, and although you can book in for some private time to skate, you can also take part in a variety of events, including Monday Night Family SK8 Mania, or meet baby shark!
These activities are a great way to take the meaning of family time to new heights, and even discover a new favorite hobby!
If you want to book some private rink time, you can get 90 minutes of private time, live DJ, and you can choose between skating, or using the rink as your very own playground!
You can take up to 15 people on your private group trip, and you’ll pay around $15 per person. You won’t have to bring your own skates, either, as skaters will get their own free skate rental!
This is one of Tallahassee’s most unique, well-loved attractions, and if you’re looking for something different to do with your friends or family, we can’t recommend Skate World enough!
Jubilee Orchards works hard to promote a fun environment filled with a sense of community for both its visitors and its staff. Jubilee Orchards has a long, deep-rooted history in the state of Florida, and it’s a great place for the whole family to visit!
Entry to Jubilee Orchards is completely free, but if you’re stopping by to pick blueberries, you can expect to pay around $8 per pound on weekdays, and $9 on weekends.
Jubilee Orchards is far more than just your standard pick-your-own experience. You’re also encouraged to stay overnight at the orchards and experience the plantation in all of its glory!
Jubilee Orchards has plenty of beautifully renovated cabins that you can stay in, and each one is surrounded by hundreds of acres of land, hiking trails, stunning creeks, and beautiful wildlife.
You can even stop for a picnic by the lakes or take a canoe out on the lake! Oh, did we mention the orchards can even arrange for you to go horse riding on the plantation? Yes, you read that right!
This really is one of the most unique experiences you could hope to find in Tallahassee, and in the spring and summer months, visiting this plantation is a fairytale-like experience that everyone should experience.
